Missions - "The Great Commission"
Jesus said, "Go into all the world..."
While we all cannot go into the far corners of the world, we can partner with those who do. In its 110th Anniversary year, Westminster Presbyterian Church continues to be a mission-minded church, as it was when it was founded. From Everett to South America, Europe, the Ukraine, Japan and India, Westminster supports the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ to a world in need of a Savior.
Our partners in Missions are:
In Greater Everett: Child Evangelism Fellowship, Everett Gospel Mission, Pregnancy Resource Center, Eastgate Jail Ministries
On Foreign Shores: The Macdonalds on the Isle of Wight, Brent Kooi in Japan, the Johnsons in Brazil, the Bergeys in France, Bhogpur Children's Home in India, Wilma Cross in Chile, the Waldeckers in South America, the Pikes in Ukraine, and the Clevengers on the Yakama Indian Reservation.
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7: 7-9

Music - Giving Glory to God in Song
“Sing for joy, O heavens, for the Lord has done this;
shout aloud, O earth beneath.
Burst into song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees...”
Isaiah 44:23
shout aloud, O earth beneath.
Burst into song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees...”
Isaiah 44:23

Nursery
During the Morning Worship Services we provide a nursery for infants and toddlers. Esther Straith is the Nursery Coordinator. In the Fall, we plan to repaint the nursery walls...grab a brush and enjoy the fun!

Children's Church
You may choose to keep your children with you during the Morning Worship Service, or allow them to attend Children's Church. From the Doxology to the end of the service, they hear a Bible Story, sing children's songs, and enjoy a snack.
Library
Our librarians maintain adult and children's libraries. Read and check out Christian magazines, DVDs, VCR tapes, and books ranging from theology to biographies and fiction novels. You'll also find the exciting adventure books of our novelist in residence...Clint Kelly!
Vacation Bible School
For a whole week every summer, we sponsor a Christian activity center for children, in the format of Vacation Bible School. The exciting theme-approach varies every Summer, and includes decorations, Bible lessons, recreation, snacks, crafts, and songs.
Family Camp
Can you imagine having church in the woods on a summer weekend? Half of us can and do. On a Friday afternoon, we take tents, sleeping bags, stoves, flashlights and guitars to a State Park somewhere in the Puget Sound area. Devotions, singing around the campfire, hiking, s'mores, games, biking and a Sunday morning worship are the order of the day. If this level of camping comfort causes hesitation, come out for the Saturday afternoon picnic. All of the excitement and fun come to a screeching halt on Sunday about noon. Sunshine is always guaranteed...somewhere!
