Giving Glory to God in Song

“Sing for joy, O heavens, for the Lord has done this;
shout aloud, O earth beneath. Burst into song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees...”
Is. 44:2

Our Director:

New since 2007 is our Choir director - Thomas Harper. In addition to leading our choir, Mr. Harper is a tenured voice instructor with the University of Washington's School of Music. A veteran tenor, he has sung in operas both locally and in Europe with over 50 roles to his credit. He has a wealth of experience in choral music and as an instructor of voice. Thomas brings not only his experience, but an irrepressible love of singing to our choir.

About our Choir:

Our Choir is a traditional choir and is an integralpart in leading our worship service. Robes are worn and the choir sits up front behind the pulpit. The choir sings at the 11:00 AM service and performs the call to worship, an anthem and a closing response.

Rehearsals:

Wednesday nights 7:00PM at Westminster. Please ring the bell by the auxiliary front doors on Hoyt.
